*Real is the main currency in Brazil. The word itself also means royal and real.
This project was made with the partnership of the Hackerspace Matehackers, and it works around the concept of technological disobedience, subverting the purpose or the usage planned for an industrial object/device. As we use copper wire (reused, from computer power supplies) to give structure to a crown made with a hundred one Real cent coins, we also made a civil disobedience: this money, that no longer has value, can serve as prime matter for the making of an object that represents power.
